On January 6th, Beijing time, former Chinese Super League "8-time champion" Guangzhou FC announced its withdrawal from the stage of professional football in China, officially ending its 32-year history of team building. Previously, the Chinese Football Association announced the entry list for the three levels of league for the 2025 season, with 49 clubs obtaining entry qualifications.
