Wu Yanni was born in July 1997 in Fushun County, Zigong City, Sichuan Province. She is a Chinese female track and field athlete specializing in the women's 100-meter hurdles. She plays for Sichuan Ironman Track and Field Team and China National Track and Field Team. She is the first athlete from Sichuan to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In the final of the women's 100-meter hurdles at the 2021 National Track and Field Championships, Wu Yanni set a time of 12.87 seconds, creating the best result in China since 2015 in this event and breaking the best result in Asia that season.
