A major upset occurred at the Nuggets' home court!

Can you believe it?

The fourth-ranked Nuggets in the West were actually overturned by the tenth-ranked Spurs!

MVP favorite Jokic scored 41 points, 18 rebounds, and 9 assists, but it was all for naught!

On the other side, "French Little Giant" Wenban Yama sealed his legend with 35 points and 18 rebounds, plus 4 assists and 2 blocks!

Wow, these stats are simply explosive!

This game on January 4th, 2025, is destined to go down in history!

Before the game, everyone thought the Nuggets would win easily.

With Jokic leading the charge and in top form this season, the Spurs didn't seem to have much else besides Wenban Yama.

But who knew that this young man would lead a group of little brothers to give the Nuggets a lesson!

Gordon and Sohan were injured, so the Nuggets' starting lineup was Murray, Westbrook, Braun, Porter, and Jokic; while the Spurs had Paul, Vassell, Castle, Barnes, and Wenban Yama.

Looking at this lineup, fans thought there was no suspense in the game.

The game started with Porter giving the Nuggets a good start, making a layup with ease.

But the Spurs quickly responded, with Castle and Wenban Yama scoring inside and out, launching an 8-2 run to give the Nuggets a wake-up call.

Jokic saw that this wouldn't do and immediately began his scoring show, operating inside and scoring 4 points in a row.

But Wenban Yama, this kid, was like cheating, impossible to guard!

He shot from beyond the three-point line and made it, despite being over 2.2 meters tall!

At the end of the first quarter, the Spurs led 32-30, leaving the fans in awe.

In the second quarter, the Spurs played even more aggressively, with Wenban Yama's hot hand continuing as he made three-pointer after three-pointer, seemingly without cost.

On the Nuggets' side, Jokic struggled to keep them afloat, but his teammates were in poor form, and the gap widened.

At halftime, the Spurs led 60-52, with Wenban Yama already scoring 22 points and Jokic also getting 19 points. These two were truly fighting like gods!

After the break, Jokic went into beast mode, scoring 18 points in a single quarter, almost bringing the score back.

But the Spurs' young players showed great resilience, with Paul and Vassell also starting to make their presence felt from outside, preventing the Nuggets from overtaking.

At the end of the third quarter, the Nuggets narrowly took the lead 90-87, and the game entered a white-hot stage.

In the final quarter, both sides exchanged leads, making for a thrilling watch.

Wenban Yama once again exploded at a crucial moment, hitting two consecutive three-pointers to help the Spurs regain the lead.

On the Nuggets' side, Porter and Struthers also hit three-pointers, making the game a close battle.

In the dying moments, Jokic had a chance for a three-pointer but missed, and was intercepted by Vassell, who finished with a dunk, instantly widening the gap to 3 points!

The Nuggets' last attack ended with Porter missing a three-pointer, and the game was over!

The Spurs pulled off a stunning 113-110 victory over the Nuggets!

This result was probably unexpected by many before the game.

Wenban Yama shot 14 of 22 from the field, including 4 of 6 from three-point range, scoring 35 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks, breaking the record of at least one three-pointer and one block in 25 consecutive games!

Although Jokic scored an empty 41 points, 18 rebounds, and 9 assists, he could only accept defeat helplessly.

In this game, Paul also showed his youthful vigor, dishing out 11 assists and breaking the Spurs' team record for the oldest player to reach double-digit assists!

With this victory, the Spurs rose to eighth in the West, while the Nuggets' ranking became precarious.

This game was truly full of drama and once again proved that in the NBA, anything is possible!
