The Italian Serie A women's volleyball team, Conegliano, has released their star calendar for 2025, and we see our number 2 Zhu Ting featured in the January edition. Zhu Ting's new look is heroic and dashing, with a short haircut, and a little white cat perched on her shoulder. It's a very interesting and creative idea!

In addition, Chinese fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Women's Club World Cup next month. Hangzhou, China, will be the host city, with Tianjin Volleyball as the host team, and Zhu Ting's club, Conegliano, will also participate. This means Zhu Ting will once again compete in the Club World Cup, having already represented three different clubs in the competition. These include Vakifbank from Turkey, Tianjin Volleyball from China, and Italy's Conegliano.

Born on November 29, 1994, Zhu Ting is about to celebrate her 30th birthday. In the blink of an eye, the young "Little Zhu Ting" who first emerged has now become a seasoned veteran. At the 2012 Asian Youth Women's Volleyball Championship, Zhu Ting made her debut with outstanding performances in the Henan Volleyball League. She made a splash at the Asian Championships, gaining recognition from all sides, and from that point on, Zhu Ting entered a period of rapid growth.

After Lang Ping became the head coach of the Chinese women's volleyball team in 2013, journalists and media were very concerned about when Zhu Ting would join the national team. Lang Ping, with her keen eye for talent, decisively recruited Zhu Ting. At the time, Zhu Ting was very thin, and later Lang Ping recalled: "I didn't dare to overtrain Zhu Ting because she was so thin. If I increased the training load, she would faint."

Gradually, Zhu Ting's nutrition improved, and her muscles developed. Through various high-intensity training and cultivation, Zhu Ting made rapid progress. Under Lang Ping's guidance, Zhu Ting grew into a top spiker. After winning the silver medal at the 2014 World Championship and the gold medal at the 2015 World Cup, Zhu Ting signed with the Turkish powerhouse Vakifbank in the spring of 2016, before the Rio Olympics even began.

Soon after, the Brazilian event commenced: The Chinese women's volleyball team started slow but finished strong, securing the championship. The 21-and-a-half-year-old Zhu Ting won the MVP award, becoming the world's top spiker. She then embarked on a three-year journey with Vakifbank, where she won eight championships, a testament to a glorious era in her career.

During this time, Zhu Ting returned to China with Vakifbank to participate in the Club World Cup, and the team's head coach, Guidetti, praised her in front of Zhu Ting's parents, saying: "You have raised an excellent daughter!"

In the winter of 2019, to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics, Zhu Ting returned to China to join Tianjin Volleyball and also participated in the Club World Cup. Unfortunately, Zhu Ting suffered a wrist injury at the time, which led to her shedding tears on the court. Following this, the Olympics were postponed, and Zhu Ting was unable to use this time to treat her wrist. Subsequently, at the Tokyo Olympics, the Chinese women's volleyball team did not perform well.

After the Japanese journey concluded, Zhu Ting took a year off to fully recover from her wrist injury. She then signed with Scandicci Club for two years, gradually improving her form. This spring, after the end of the Italian league, Zhu Ting returned to China to help the national team qualify for the Olympics.

Now, at 30 years old, Zhu Ting's competitive state has slightly declined, but her disciplined efforts have kept her in a stable and solid state. After joining the Serie A powerhouse Conegliano, she has been performing better and better, gradually reaching her peak. Fans are very much looking forward to the upcoming Women's Club World Cup matches, and they also hope that in the next four years, Zhu Ting will continue to play steadily and healthily, with the expectation that she will make another appearance at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics as number 2!
