As of December 19th in the early hours of Beijing time, the second match day of the 19th round of the CBA has concluded with six games determining their winners and losers. The latest league rankings have also been released, showing a change at the top of the CBA standings, with Liaoning in 5th, Guangdong in 8th, Xinjiang in 4th, and Guangzhou at the bottom.

The results of the completed six games are as follows: Jilin defeated Liaoning 114-102, Shanxi beat Shandong 98-80, Shenzhen lost to Shanghai 99-103, Tongxi lost to Guangdong 97-112, Beijing won against Jiangsu 112-89, and Xinjiang won against Tianjin 104-83.

The CBA standings have been immediately updated, with team rankings changing accordingly, making the championship race even more intense. Notably, Shanxi Fenjiu has become a dark horse this season, currently on a six-game winning streak, accumulating 34 points in 19 rounds to jump to first place. Zhejiang Guangsha, with 33 points, has fallen from the top spot to second. Beijing BAW has ranked third, Xinjiang is fourth, Liaoning is fifth, Shandong is sixth, and Zhejiang Chouzhou is seventh.

It's worth mentioning that according to official CBA data, from third-placed Beijing BAW to seventh-placed Zhejiang Chouzhou, these five teams all have the same score of 32 points. The only differences lie in their goal difference and number of matches played. These teams are only two points behind the top team, Shanxi, meaning that just one game could significantly alter the league standings. From first to seventh place, there's actually an opportunity for any of them to challenge for the championship.

Du Feng's Guangdong team has accumulated 30 points in 19 games and is currently on a two-game winning streak, ranking eighth. As a powerhouse in the CBA, Guangdong now sits only in eighth place, which surprises many fans, considering the team's impressive track record in previous seasons. However, this season, Guangdong has faced some difficulties, with the team's form fluctuating.

Qingdao ranks ninth, followed closely by Beikong with 29 points in tenth place. Meanwhile, Guangzhou, where Chinese men's basketball star Guo Ailun plays, is currently on a two-game losing streak with 24 points, ranking 16th, or fifth from the bottom. Every game is an opportunity for growth, and Guangzhou's young players are continuously gaining experience and improving their skills. With Guo Ailun in the team and the newly joined Ding Yanhang, it's believed that Guangzhou will gradually overcome its difficulties and bring pleasant surprises to fans in the future.

Fujian Jinjiang Cultural Tourism Men's Basketball Team has only won one game so far in the league and is currently on a nine-game losing streak with 18 points, ranking last. It's important to note that the new rankings are only temporary, and as the matches continue, the leaderboard will keep changing.
