This was the first battle between the two teams in 2025, and Zhou Qi returned to the court. The game was very close, with the scores tightly contested throughout the first three quarters. However, in the final quarter, Zhang Cairen emerged as a key player for Beijing, hitting four consecutive three-pointers, which quickly expanded the lead to 20 points. Beijing targeted Liaoning's relatively weak interior defense by starting with a larger lineup. Fu Ge responded with free throws and a mid-range shot, while Chen Yingjun continued to score from the free throw line and hit another mid-range shot, extending Beijing's lead to 10-4. In the second quarter, both teams maintained their intensity. Solomon and Zeng Fanbo scored inside and out for Beijing, while Wells and Fu Ge responded in kind for Liaoning. After halftime, Omore scored on a fast break and drive, helping Beijing expand their lead into double digits. In the final quarter, Zeng Fanbo made two free throws, Jemian scored on a drive, Zhang Cairen cut for a basket, and Zhou Qi hit a three-pointer, leading Beijing on a 9-3 run to extend their lead to 84-74. Fu Hao scored inside to stop the bleeding, and Yu Zechen drove for a basket, but Zhang Cairen hit four more three-pointers, and Jemian scored on a drive, helping Beijing build a 20-point lead at 98-78. The large point difference took the suspense out of the game, and Yang Ming brought on younger players to finish the game. Ultimately, the full game ended with Beijing defeating Liaoning 105-90, achieving a double victory over their opponents this season.
